Foamed Acrylic Bonding Tape – Tenacious Tapes

Tenacious’s Foamed Acrylic Bonding Tape is double sided designed for permanent applications where a very high bond is required. Being an acrylic polymer is have a very high UV performance being UV resistant as well as a plasticiser giving good ageing properties.

It has a red PE filmic release liner suitable for die cutting.

Description:  A Clear 0.25mm Foamed Acrylic Tape designed for applications where a very high permanent bond is required. It has a high performance UV cured acrylic polymer. It is plasticiser and UV resistant, giving good ageing properties It has a red PE filmic release liner suitable for die cutting.

Application: Laminating to profiles and trim e.g. PVC and magnetic extrusions, but particularly low energy surfaces such as polypropylene. Nameplate mount and bonding clear and translucent plastics in the sign trade.

Technical Details:

Surface Preparation:  The surface on which the tape is to be used must be clean, dry and free from grease and dust. Remember that pressure sensitive adhesive must be applied with the maximum possible pressure in order to achieve maximum adhesion levels. The recommended application temperature is between 15ºC and 25ºC.

Storage:  Tapes stored below the minimum application temperature will require warming up to that level before use. Up to 24 hours may be required for this to take place.
